So, what is “Beauty Secrets”? Beauty Secrets is where you can learn about the beauty-full inner workings of women who are moving and shaking in their world, whether it be beauty, personal finance or somewhere in between.
Today’s muse is Bethany Hilt, founder of VERTERE Skincare. Bethany and I met at an industry event and she introduced me to her wonderful products shortly thereafter. Bethany’s passion for skin care and ingredients began at a young age making skin care products with her grandmother. As she grew older, she struggled with her skin so she learned everything she could about skin care ingredients. She was determined to find the perfect combination of products (sometimes up to 4 and 5 at a time) to fight wrinkles and dark spots without clogging her pores. Out of frustration, and the need to simply her routine, she used her decades of ingredient research to develop what is now VERTERE Dramatic Transformation Cream. After just a week of using the cream, she started receiving compliments about her skin – this was totally foreign to her so she knew that she was onto something.
Here are Bethany’s beauty secrets:
- “Because VERTERE is so streamlined, my skin care routine is quick and simple! I cleanse my skin morning and night with VERTERE Refining Treatment Cleanser, pairing it with a Clarisonic facial brush in the evenings. In the morning I follow with VERTERE Dramatic Transformation Cream SPF 18. Sometimes I’ll even use our cream in the evenings. During the day, I’ll apply Vita Liberata’s Trystal Minerals Self-Tanning Bronzing Minerals. I love having a natural looking tan but I avoid the sun, so I rely on self-tanning. When your skin is perfected – wrinkles are smoothed, skin tone is even and clear – you can just apply something like the Self-Tanning Bronzing Minerals, lipstick and mascara and go.
- Another thing I do to feel beautiful is yoga. I feel at my very best when I’m consistent with my yoga practice, which includes Monday morning and Friday afternoon classes. Stress reduction is so important for your skin as well as your body and mind. When I’m practicing yoga, I feel positively radiant and I carry that with me off the mat into my daily activities.”
