It’s the beginning of the month, so let’s dive into what to buy/wait on!
Sales will really heat up for Black Friday & Cyber Monday at the end of the month, but I’m hearing that some retailers, like Walmart (Nov. 12-15) and Target (Nov. 5-7), are launching sales earlier if you want to start shopping.
BUY:
• Tech: We’ll see sales on things like TVs, laptops, and earbuds rolling throughout the month, but the sweet spot will be Thanksgiving week during Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales.
• Small & Large home appliances: November is the ideal time to get that air fryer or robotic vacuum for someone on your list. Or, if a large appliance in your home is on its last legs, this month is a good time to purchase a replacement.
• Beauty products: Beauty is always a strong category for sales in November. Ideal for picking up gift sets or stocking up on your favorites.
• Fall Clearance: Fall apparel and accessories will be priced to move.
WAIT:
• Toys: We’ll see toy sales over Black Friday week, but toys tend to be more deeply discounted in December.
• Winter apparel/accessories: Wait on cold-weather items until December.
• Holiday-themed items: Holiday gift sets and décor will be on Clearance in December (and January, too).
