Not only is the temperature heating up, so are the deals! If you’re itching to shop, you may be wondering; what are the best things to buy in July? I partnered with deal site Slickdeals.net, to share what to buy now and what to wait on.
Amazon Prime Day 2018
Last year’s Prime Day was the biggest Amazon sale day ever. The company sold their proprietary devices, like the Echo Dot and Kindles at deep discounts and in record numbers, and other top-selling items were the Instant Pot and 23andMe DNA test. Despite all the excitement, a survey Slickdeals conducted of more than 2,000 Americans found that while almost 70 percent of those surveyed are familiar with Prime Day, over half (55%) of the respondents found the deals “just ok”. Obviously, Amazon has room for improvement! Rumor has it that Amazon Prime Day will be on or around July 16th, so be sure to bookmark the Slickdeals Amazon Prime Day coupons and deals page for more info.

What Not to Buy…or Wait if you Can
Back to School Gear – Focus your Back to School shopping on clothing this month. With the exception of the Staples deal, we won’t see great discounts on Back to School “gear”, i.e. backpacks, lunch bags and thermoses until August. If you need tech for school, like laptops and tablets, we’ll often see those deals in September.
Patio/Grills – You will see some deals on grills and other outdoor equipment this month, but the deals will be better in Aug.
